Water Outage
UPDATE 9:11 am 5/29/21: Austin Energy estimates 2.5-3 hours to make repair as long as transformer is still good. A limb did also fall on the transformer so that will have to be determined by their team.
UPDATE 8:08 am 5/29/21: Confirmed Austin Energy has now arrived on site.
UPDATE 8 am 5/29/21: Up to this point we have been able to maintain water service. We are getting our first calls of low water pressure at the highest elevation. Austin Energy has informed us within the last hour that they have a crew in route to us and therefore we expect that our repair will begin shortly and this issue to resolve. We do not have an estimated time frame for the repair itself. We ask that you conserve water as much as possible this morning while repairs are being made so that minimal residents are impacted.
Original post 11:45 pm 5/28/2021: Please be advised that Water District 10 has a pump station down due to the storm. Because we are without power there are residents at higher elevations that may lose water service as a result of this issue. We are on site waiting for Austin Energy to show up and make repairs and will begin restoring water once the repairs are complete. This does not affect the entire District.
