Fire Sprinkler Rule

NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF AN ORDER ADOPTING RULES AND POLICIES REGARDING TRAVIS COUNTY WCID NO. 10’s RULE NO. 2014-04-14 REQUIRING INSTALLATION OF FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEMS FOR ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION OR CERTAIN REMODELS WITHIN THE DISTRICT; IMPOSITION OF PENALTIES UPON PARTIES WHO FAIL TO INSTALL FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEMS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE RULE; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION OF THIS RULE: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Directors of Travis County Water Control & Improvement District No. 10 (the “District”) has adopted an Order Adopting Rules and Policies for the Travis Co. WCID No. 10 Fire Sprinklers Rule (the “Rules”).  The Rules set forth the District’s rules and policies regarding the Fire Sprinklers.  Breach of these rules may subject the violator to a penalty in an amount not to exceed $1,000 per occurrence per day, and all costs incurred by the District in connection with any enforcement for violation of the Rules.  The full text of the Rule is on file in the office of the District, 5324 Bee Cave Road, Austin, Texas 78746, or on the District’s website: www.waterdistrict10.org, where any interested person may read it.
